There is a before picture if you click on our flickr photos to the right. I was SO ready to cut it. Everyone in the salon thought it was going to be this big emotional thing and was kind of surprised when it wasn't. This is the 3rd time I've done this and that happens each time. It is hair - it will grow back :) For that I am grateful and am happy to share mine with someone who needs it, so I'm sending this ponytail (and the one from after Jonah was born) to Pantene Beautiful Lengths. (Yes, there is a random ponytail that has been hanging out around here for about 2 1/2 or 3 years now! It is time to send it off finally!) I sent my 'Tyler ponytail' to Locks of Love, so I thought I'd do a different charity this time. I've already reached for hair that is no longer on my head and I'm sure I'll do that again a few more times before I remember it is all gone! I'm just glad I won't get tangled up in it anymore while I'm sleeping or if the wind blows hard and Berkeley won't get tangled up in it anymore either. I can't tell you how many times I've had to unwind my hair from around her fingers.
Aside from that, not much going on. We've had a bug making its way around our house. First Jonah and I had it, now it seems Joe and Tyler are having their turn. Hopefully it skips Berkeley altogether. Tyler is doing great in school, as is Jonah, and I am getting errands run that I have put off for some time. That's it around here!

It looks great and it isn't nearly as short as i thought it was going to be.
i still do love your hair...it's inspiring me to go shorter
