We had a busy weekend. Joe's mom came for a visit and we spent lots of time outside in the beautiful spring weather we are having. We went to a park on Saturday for a birthday party and some geocaching (www.geocaching.com). Sunday we had our neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt and party. We are all worn out.
Since Jo Ann/Nana was here and it is only a week until Berkeley's first birthday (which I am having trouble believing!), Berkeley got to open her first birthday gift from Nana. I'm not sure who was more excited - the boys or Berkeley.
Berkeley is growing up so much - so fast! Of course, I know this is how it happens, but I think each time it seems to happen faster. I've learned to savor each stage instead of looking ahead to the next, but it still goes by too quickly. She is pulling up and cruising around from coffee table to couch to whatever she can reach! She is very busy all the time and truly wants to be wherever, doing whatever the boys are doing. I think she is going to keep us on our toes. Poor Jo Ann watched all 3 kids while we visited our new niece in the hospital Friday evening, and she was a little overwhelmed by the experience.
On that note - a big welcome to Addison West Berkeley! Born Friday April 3 at 11:49a.m. weighing in at 8 lbs and 2 oz. Mary popped her right out and looks fabulous. You'd never know she's just given birth. Everyone is happy and healthy and are all glad to be home together. Berkeley is no longer the baby! Addison better enjoy being the baby while she can because Baby Buntyn will take that crown sometime in October.
