Today is Tyler's first day of 1st grade. He was a little nervous. The morning didn't turn out to be the sweet Mommy/Tyler morning we planned. We were going to go a little early and have breakfast together at the school (Tyler's choice of locations!) before the school day started. Well, Tyler couldn't find his shoes so we didn't get out the door in time. Instead he had to wolf down a poptart in the car on the way. It wasn't the best way to start the first day of school! Hopefully his whole day won't be wrecked because of the rocky start. My little man is growing up!
