Our little triathlete!

Tyler finished 13th in his age group.

Tyler and his cousin Coby did their first kids triathlon today! They did great and are both excited to do it again. Tyler finished 13th out of 26 boys and Coby finished 20th. Coby would have come in really close to Tyler except that someone moved his bike and he couldn't find it (no fair...but what can you do?). It had all the glitz and glam of a grown up race but also with a bouncy house and big inflatable slide at the end! They even had more food than we usually have, I think! Cookies, ChickFilA and pizza! The 4-6 year olds swam 25M, biked .3 miles and ran 100 yards. It was all over very quickly...which is probably for the best. It was definitely a fun family outing. We are very proud of him and loved seeing a little bit of competitiveness come out in him!

Age 4 is the youngest....however, the way they figure the ages, a 3 yr old could participate. The age is figured for the year by their age on 12/31 of that year.

Awesome, Way to go Tyler & Coby! I would love for Kobi & Jack to do this next time... I am ready to get moving too... Maybe we can catch up at the Y next week.
Love,
Amy

This is awesome! Our Y has one too, but we didn't get info in time for Taylor Anne to join in - I am sure she will want to do it next year!
